Fortnightly Review - Weeks 5 & 6

Another solid fortnight done. Maybe even slightly overdone in places.

The numbers pretty much speak for themselves. The only thing I can really complain about is that I am still doing most of my mountain biking riding on the road instead of trails.

I managed to arrange sessions around my two training course days last week and two days back in the office this week. That seems like a manageable impediment. 5 days might be harder to manage as I still needed the three other lunchtimes to squeeze sessions in.

I also managed a 19:31 at Inverurie Parkrun last week, and it still feels like there is more in the tank. If I had realised I was only a second off my target 5k time for the year I might have put a bit more of a sprint finish in.

3 weeks until I get my hip injections and do my first Aquathlon of the year. I have a cross country race in Forres next weekend and then I think I will try and get another Parkrun in to see if I can get under 19:30 before getting into multi-sport races for the year.
