Fortnightly Review - Weeks 27 & 28

I completely forgot about this until the last minute. And I know I still haven't published either of  my Targu Mures race posts.  I ran another 3K PB a the beach series last week (10:32). And then the officials added 4 seconds to the time in the results, and it was still a PB (10:36). I took my good mtb out for the first time since Targu Mures, and found that somewhere in transit the dropper post lever had been snapped and the rear derailleur has been bent again! I did a duathlon race on Thursday. Just took my road bike but would probably have been slightly quicker on my TT bike. I took a very easy ride down to the Beach, did my normal warm-up and put on my bouncy new shoes. I tried to go with the 18 minute pacemaker but he went too fast the first 800m and I let him go and ran to the watch instead. That put me in a nice little group of about 7 runners all the way through 3k, by which point the pacemaker was on pace but still 20 yards ahead. Then my little group just blew apart. Half o...
