Fortnightly Review - Weeks 29 & 30

I finished my 1 mile per 10km for the Tour de France. I finished my 1 mile per 10km for the Tour de France Femmes. I am now beyond exhausted. My bike miles for the year so far are now in excess of my end of October target, and I have exceeded my end of year mountain biking miles target. two weeks out from ITU Bratislava I need to get off the bike, taper A LOT, and do some fast swimming.

In terms of fast practice I did a couple of races, a super short Aquathlon at Knockburn where I came second in a small field. And a cross triathlon in Loch Lomond (with a swim about 250m longer than it should have been) where I came 7th overall, second Male Vet, 1st M45 which should qualify me for ITU Ibiza and ETU Wherever next year.

I also picked off another Parkrun, doing Stonehaven, which is almost as tough and hilly a course as Crathes from the week before.

I still haven't finished my Targu Mures blogs and I am not likely to do them this next week either as my laptop is going in to the Apple Store for a replacement battery.
