ETU Cross Duathlon - Bilbao

First up, it isn't in Bilbao, it is a good hour out of town in a village called Balmaseda.

It is a nice little place, which is basically been entirely shutdown for the day to accommodate us.


Also going to bump this and my other two European Champs to 2023 as I am so far behind.

Training Review - Weeks 39 & 40

Okay. time to do one of these properly. I have been effectively on my limit of using my time for useful things the last few months and have been lazy about updating these.  My serious race season is finished. I still have a few races to do, maybe a couple of cross countries and a couple of aquathons but effectively my race season is done. I should therefore take a couple of weeks of rest, or at least take them easy, before I switch to winter training.  Instead I have managed to get a chest infection which I am struggling to shift, and I have started straight in to the winter season training with the Uni students again. This shifted my swimming noticeably last year so I want to stay focused on it this year.  I am also getting out on lots of adventures with my new girlfriend.
