Training Review - Weeks 47 & 48
This is going to be another short wrap up as it has been a fairly quiet fortnight.
This is the first time I have been behind my swim target for the year as I missed a couple more sessions and am just not managing to fit in a 4th swim anywhere. In the remaining 3 weeks I will easily make that back as I always binge a little on swimming during the Xmas holidays.
I added another Parkrun win despite a very slow time at Stonehaven. And then I had a fantastic Cross-Country run in the North District Championships at Gordonstoun.
Today I went out on my proper mountain bike and did some actual riding on steep and off-road trails (possibly for the first time since Bilbao?) rather than just tootling around on road commutes. That took me over my stretch ride mile target for the year.
I have spent a chunk of time planning for 2023 and starting my Xmas preparations. I will be drafting that soon and will probably post it before New Year.
